Keynote speakers
With financial support of NOVA, we have been able to invite 5 keynote speakers:

Prof. Julie McEnery (NASA, NOVA speaker)
will present the first results of the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope (formerly GLAST).
Prof. Ed van den Heuvel
will look back on 10 year NOVA and look ahead to the future of Dutch Astronomy.
Including 2 winners of an ERC Advanced Grant:
Conny Aerts
Probing stellar physics and testing stellar evolution through asteroseismology
Heino Falcke
From black holes to ultra-high energy cosmic rays: exploring the extremes of the universe with low-frequency radio interferometry

Evening lecture
The evening lecture will be given by prof. Frits Rosendaal of the Leiden University Medical Centre, who will talk about 'Flying and Thrombosis'.

Poster boards
In view of the many new PhD and postdoc positions that will become available at the start of NOVA III, poster boards will be provided for advertising these (and other) jobs.
