Travel Information
Rolduc is located just to the east of Kerkrade, near the Dutch-German border (Click here for a map). Here are some travel options to reach the NAC in time. This information was correct at time of publication (7 January 2009), however, due to the capricious nature of public transport and road works, this information is only meant as an indication. We will try to keep it as up to date as possible, but please check the exact times yourself before your trip.

Car

Train
Up-to-date travel information can be obtained from www.ns.nl or www.9292ov.nl.
Trains will arrive in Heerlen either at 11:07 or at 11:37. On the registration form, you can opt to be taken from the station in Heerlen to the conference centre Rolduc by a chartered bus. The bus will leave twice, at 11:15 and at 11:45 from the backside of Heerlen station. If you choose to be picked up, you will also be dropped off at Heerlen station on Friday. The bus leaves Rolduc at 13:30 and 14:15 hours.

From Amsterdam CS, take the train at 8:37 from platform 5. This will take you directly to Heerlen, arriving at 11:07. Total travelling time: 2:30.
Or take the train at 9:07 from platform 5. This will take you directly to Heerlen, arriving at 11:37. Total travelling time: 2:30.

From Utrecht CS, take the same train at 9:08 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:07. Total travelling time: 1:58.
Or take the train at 9:38 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:37. Total travelling time: 1:58.

From Groningen CS, take the train at 6:44 from platform 2b to Utrecht CS, arriving on platform 8 at 8:40. In Utrecht change to the train leaving at 9:08 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:07. Total travelling time: 4:23.
Or take the train at 7:04 from platform 2b to Amersfoort, arriving on platform 7 at 8:53. Change to the train leaving at 8:55 from platform 6 to Utrecht CS, arriving at 9:10 at platform 8. Change to the train leaving at 9:38 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:37. Total travelling time: 4:33

From Leiden CS, take the train at 7:52 from platform 1 to Utrecht, arriving on platform 18a at 8:35. Change to the train leaving at 9:08 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:07. Total travelling time: 3:15.
Alternatively, take the train at 8:04 from platform 8 to Den Haag, arriving on platform 4 at 8:14. Change to the train leaving at 8:26 from platform 3 to Eindhoven, arriving on platform 2 at 10:00. Change to the train leaving at 10:02 from platform 1, arriving in Heerlen at 11:07. Total travelling time: 3:03.
Or take the train at 8:22 from platform 1 to Utrecht, arriving on platform 18a at 9:05. Change to the train leaving at 9:38 from platform 15, arriving in Heerlen at 11:37. Total travelling time: 3:15.
Alternatively, take the train at 8:34 from platform 8 to Den Haag, arriving on platform 4 at 8:44. Change to the train leaving at 8:56 from platform 3 to Eindhoven, arriving on platform 2 at 10:30. Change to the train leaving at 10:32 from platform 1, arriving in Heerlen at 11:37. Total travelling time: 3:03.

From Nijmegen CS, take the train at 9:09 from platform 1b to Roermond, arriving on platform 3b at 10:27. Change to the train leaving at 10:33 from platform 1, arriving in Heerlen at 11:07. Total travelling time: 1:58.
Or take the train at 9:39 from platform 1b to Roermond, arriving on platform 3b at 10:57. Change to the train leaving at 11:03 from platform 1, arriving in Heerlen at 11:37. Total travelling time: 1:58.
